(The Water Lily: its pleasant, its cooling, its beautiful-splendid! What make it much meaningful? Fishes feeding under grove. Frogs resting on the open leaves. Dragonflies hovering for a bath. Flies feeding the nectar. Human kind appreciating all the rest. That are her true puposes (don't we see?)!)
Today, either it is at 10.10.10 hours in the morning or 10.10.10 hours in the evening, it is indeed a very special moment. The very special of this timing, if we take to the second, once in our life time could only we write down: 10.10.10.10.10.10 or 5x10 ie 10 oclock, 10 minutes, 10 seconds on the 10th of Oct, 2010. Only next year and the year after next could only we write 5X11 and 5x12. We never could write 5x13, and I believe even if that exist, most probably we would never want to write as such! In fact since 2001, we could write 5X1 to 5x12.
(2) Not many have realised over the past 10 years, we could have celebrate or do something memorial just as we should be doing today.
(3) What I did yesterday and early this morning gave me the inspiration to write what I'm now posting. Yesterday, with my three farm workers, I taught them how to do proper care of my crops: oil palm, durian, mangosteen, cempedak-nangka hybrid, pulasan, pomelo, citrus and coconut. Since the last two years, though I used to frequent to MyKampung, but I used to land attending to MyMini Market and other construction works. I have neglected my farms because of my trust on my workers who had been all these while tendiring to all those works. I place full trust on them!
(4) Yesterday, as I checked on all my farms, I was almost upset, all the farming works were done not to my expectation. I have been spending lots of money to develop and maintain all these farms. My trust had been abused and if I don't rectify the matter soon, I might be loosing lots of money, and worst the trust of those who had been my partners, the poor Kampung folks. I was careless not to remember, what Holyghost had been questioning Allah when He want to create a human being, ie: "...why can't you just trust me, whom have been dedicatedly loyal to You"; implying, Holyghost knew, human being can't be really trusted!"
(5) Today, I left the three workers to do what ever I had taught and instructed them to do. After my breakfast with them, I settled reading: A passion to success by Inamori, Kazuo accompanied by some beautiful soft instrumental and the breezing fragrant of all those plants: jasmin, melor, cempaka, lengkuas, kembang pandan, cempaka wali, and lavender that I planted surrounding my home.
(6) At about 12.30 after saying goodbye to my little nephew, I drove off to Town. Passing by MyKampung mates' homes, at a junction I was stopped by an old primary school mate. He asked: "Can you help me with oil palm seedlings. Me and my brother, your good buddy has cleared five acres of land. We have not much money to buy the seedling and we seek your help". Staring into his eyes, I asked him: "How is your mother. At least, I think three years I have not seen her". His reply: "She is at home, can't walk anymore". I answered back: "Let me see her first!". As I approached the house, I saw a PPRT home infront of the mother's house, and I quickly sounded him: "This must be your home. Look good. I don't understand, why did you let your mother to stay in the same old home. Worst she is alone".
(7) The mother was infact sitting at the verandah where 15-20 years ago I used to have coffee with one of his son, whom now had passed away. The mother in fact in those days was very close with me, and she was among my grandmother good friends. I went up to the verandah, took her hands and gave her a warm shakes. She then called for me: "You better teach my son how to be good. He must change his life". Her son, in fact had been wondering all over the places, without a proper life. He has a family, but is not properly taken care. I reached for his son shoulder, then I said straigh to his face: "I have no problem to help you, but you must do two things. I want you to dismantle your mum home, expand your home with all those left over materials, and build her a room, and take her to stay with you. Secondly, I want you to develop her land as well as yours. You must take good care of her. Your life will be blessed. Don't worry I'll help you with the seedlings".
(8) Upon reaching my home in Town, I settled to watch a movie, but, I felt guilty for not posting anything on this good memorial day. Recalling those three events: my neglected farms, my old school mate, his mother, and the book by Inamori, I switched off the TV and hurried for this article.
(9) Inamori formula for success:
SUCCESS = ABILITY X EFFORT X ATTITUDE
(a) The formula required a multiplication not an addition. Inamori couldn't explained clearly why he used multiplication instead of addition in the formula. But Mathematically, I would figure out due to his intention to show an exponential effect of such factors.
(b) Say if we multiply 1x1x1, sure the result will be ONE, but if we add 1+1+1, definitely the answer will be 3, but that is Mathematic, not when we are dealing with intangile matters such as SUCCESS. Now say we multiply 1x2x3 the answer is equal to 1+2+3, but what about if we raise the figure into much higher say 2x3x4 the answer would be 24 while 2+3+4 would only be 9. Thus, if we raised any of the factor to a much highre degree, definitely the resu;t would be much different than if we use addition.
(c) Thus Inamori Multiplication Factoring is considered justifiable for him to make us realised how SUCCESS is a result of an exponential factors of ABILITY, EFFORT AND ATTITUDE. Thus, if one know that he is not ABLE, say from a score of 1-10, he is only at the stage of 1, then in order for him to be successful, he must place a greater EFFORT, say to the full score of 10. It is interesting to capture, though not explicitly said by Inamori, ATTITUDE has a magnitude of -10 to 10 (he placed -100 to 100). Thus if one have negative attitude, definitely he will score a negative success ie failure. If he has positive attitude, ie say anyting above 5, definitely, success will always be with him
Just for Mathematical clarification, say two guys, A and B:
A: Ability: Effort: Attitude = 1:0:-10; Success = Deep Failure (due to negative attitude)
B: Ability: Effort: Attitude = 1:9:10; Success = 90% (despite low ability)
(d) Basically what the above notion try to figure out was that, if the two guys A and B have equal Ability (say a uneducated, unskilled Kampung Boy), and if A just take life easy (happy go lucky) and don't bother, while B work hard and always take anything (even failures along the way) as challenge and a learning process, definitely B will excel much better than A.
(10) I'll write the synopsis of this book later after I have made lots of comparison with all my other motivational books readings.
(11) Sure, you want to know, what is the memory of this day, this moment that I want to share with you loyal readers.
(a) Firstly, I trust my earlier workers to take care of my investments. I spent lots of money on those oil palm farms. Lots of people trust their lives on me, yet I became negligent. Inamori, said, without my clear purpose of fulfilling my objective to serve as a true human being, I would just cry and abondon my effort. If money is what I'm aiming for, doing this slow investment, socially sensitive works would never repaid! Therefore, it is very pertinent, in our life, not only we must work for our personal welbeing, but most important to serve Allah in it broader and true sense! Working for His Barakah! I decided not to give up, I know I will be spending lots more money, time and energy to rectify my carelessness, but most important, I start to see smiling faces among those whom I have tried to help on my personal basis. That satisfaction is what money couldn't buy!
(b) This old friend of mine, he knew he had been look down by the society. He never finished even his Primary Education. His FORMAL INTELLECTUAL AND SKILL ABILITY is almost zerro. He once had been abondoned by the family including the mother. Now he wants to come back. He want to have a meaning in his life. He want his family to be better. His ATTITUDE toward life had changed. Thus, he decided, and many times asking me to help him. He made an EFFORT to see and talk to me. He makes a very correct move, to be courageous, to be brave, to see and talk to me.
(c) Surely, I have no problem because I know him since kid days though we part for so long. I check on his sincerity. I check on his seriousness. Basically, I look into details as I always remind my friends. He shown me the area that he had cleared. He had cut all his coconut, bananas, coffee and even all those ages of fruits trees. He is serious. He is determine.
(d) Now, on what ground should I not help him out. Those money that I earned, sure will never be enough even if I earned RM1,000,000 aday! The knowledge, the position, the health, the status etc that I have, are those really mine? Do I have the right to remain stingy?
(12) Today, I believe I'm going to start a Small Grameen Bank in my own way, that would be MyMicro-Economic Village Development Model. At least today, with those Books written by Muhhamad Yunus the founder of Grammen Bank of Pakistan, that I have been keen following, my school mate, and his poor ailing mother had given me the inspiration how to use Allah wealth (money, time, health, idea, energy, etc) vested on me for the good deed of His people. I have always pray for that, and I believe, let believe that way to make sure, all human kind benefited from the same way how we look and manage our wealths! Today, this day, I started that Officially.

Firstly, thanks for your concern. Nonetheless, I have two young growing kids. Their emotion and welbeing need my priority personal sacrifice. At this moment, I can't take away their happiness in place of mine.
(2) Secondly, I have sets of professional dreams that I need to focus on. I believe, our people out there, though they may look OK, but in the long run, they are not. Some one has to sacrifice to realise that. I don't mind to take such responsibility, since I'm more free than most.

Well when a door is closed, it doesn't mean to be locked tight. Same goes with the opened door, which not necessarily must be immediately entered. Time will come, for either one to be chosen for whatever course.
(2) Life is always a matter of the other side of a coin. You can't easily have both.
(3) For our friend, though he sounded hard on the Malay, but I strongly believe he is a hard headed Malay himself. Thus, his judgmenent over his personal life should be kept free to himself especially as long as what he is doing is great for himself, family and or the nation (community). He had made his 'personal priority choice'; I would believe based on the principle of: guruh di langit, air di tempayan jangan dicurahkan and or burung yang terbang jangan dipipiskan lada; and that sound perfect for the time being.
