(Their purpose: eat, breed and to be slaughtered. Simple, clear and divine. Why? Because they are buffloes. Ours, should we just think for oneself? Let ponder, let think, let change if need be. Why? Are we not human, created to lead? Then?)

Let see what Kazuo Inamori say about Sense of Purpose in his A Passion for Success. In Islam, sense of purpose is always emphasized by meant of niat:intent and the saying Bismillah: In the name of Allah, My Lord. If one dare to pronounce Bismillah definitely his or her purpose must be for good. Thus, Islam always want its followers to have clean and honest purpose in what ever one wants and needs to do.

More and more individuals, especially young people seem to have lost their purpose in life. They live from one moment to the next, seeking immediate gratification. Their sole purpose for working is to earn a paycheck in the hope of finding themselves in leisure and entertainment. Such a pursuit of happiness will be futile.

An “easy” lifestyle may initially seem carefree and pleasurable, but sooner or later, we all crave a higher purpose in life.

(2) Regardless of the era in which we live, the essence of a human being remains the sae. It is to seek goodness in life and achieve “immortality” by leaving something worthwhile to prosterity. We should seek a life that is fulfilling, so we can one day say “I worked hard, I made worthy contributions, and I am happy”.

(3) Some people may disagree with me on this idea, but I sincerely believe that this earnest way of life is better than the “easy” way. People with more experience may understand what I am talking about. Unfortunately, they are often reluctant to share their own views on life. Their usual excuse is that times have changed and their old stories are just not relevant to today’s youth. But if we speak from our heart, most people will come to share our beliefs.
