In Harvard School of Business or even in MIT for the matter, KPI for business consideration is about Profit After Tax (PAT). If PAT is zerro or negative, that would not be a business entity, rather, if continue should be treated as a Welfare entity. In the capitalist world, no Welfare should be accorded. People must survive on the Fittest Concept. You are not fit, you get lost. The fox prey on chicken not the other way round.

(2) Sometimes ago, I wrote on the AirAsia-MAS dealt wrt uneconomical flight. Their accounting system focussed purely on Corporate Accounting consideration. MAS and AirAsia must make money. No money, no honey as advertised in many T-shirts in Phnom Penh. Well that is what they teach in Harvard, MIT and those School of Economic and Business Management all over. Definite the Accounting School take Profit as a deadly must in any dealing. So that is in fact what are all these deals were about between MAS and AirAsia. Profit. Make profit. They must make Profit, but is it going to be MAS or AirAsia that make profit. That issue, doesn'tt matter. As long as Profit being made, who profited the profit, is a second issue.

(3) The chosen strategy was Corporate Finance Strategy. That it. Perfect. Losses reduced. But future Profit, not sure. The issue of national economic foundation, they don't bother.

(4) Whose idea was this? Whose the guys responsible to advice the Cabinet to give a node to this?

(5) To me what is happening in Mas-AirAsia deal is basically: Dropping a bumblebee into an open glass and instead of simply escaping out the top, the bee will buzz around inside the glass, literally bounching off the walls, until it dies. MAS-AirAsia, is going to merge to form a MyDie Airline System.

(6) Now, is it worth to have many airports and air strips? How much does an airport or air strip cost? But would alternative transportation not able to do better? So, let sell all our planes, and build train from Kudat to Teluk Ramunia, circling Singapore, but please don't bypass Kuching!
