As I have said, this couple of weeks, are really pretty busy weeks for me. Since Tuesday, I have been traveling, firstly to Singapore to meet with Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) and Nanyang University of Technology (NTU) to discuss on our needs to train our key people the way I believe the Singaporean executives are behaving in their the call for nation Building Services. I have been thinking that the nearast benchmark that we should have is over the Singaporean Executives Characters and Outlook if we really want to move fast to be a United, Prosperous and Healthy State and Nation.
(2) On Wednesday I have to chair five Board of Directors meeting in KL with Tabung Haji. I was great to note, people are more daring to make stand that really mean a win-win solution in today socio-economic affairs of the people. I would believe people in Beladin, Pusa, Debak, Gedong, and Simunjan would benefit greatly from a much caring culture of our GLCs.
(4) In the afternoon of Wednesday I flew off to Kota Bharu (KB). Upon landing, friends of mine in KB took us to see some potential lands around KB for properties investment. We later in the late afternoon have our sotong, ikan goreng and coconut drink in PCB, which the name had changed from Pantai Cinta Berahi to Pantai Cahaya Bulan. I was joking the name should now be changed to PAS Cerai Barisan.
(5) On Thursday, as early as 0800 hours, again we further explore the properties development prospect in KB. Firstly we meet with Perbadanan Menteri Besar (PMB) and talked on many things. After all those discussion we then went over to Pasir Mas and Rantau Panjang, to the north bordering the Thai. Huge development prospects are there to be immediately tape. We then have lunch in Tanah Merah. We rushed back to KB to have discussion with KELKON, the subsidiary of Kelantan SEDC which is deeply involved in construction works. All the areas that we saw have great prospect for high density and new urban development.
(6) Thereon we head for Pasir Putih and head for Tok Bali. along the way we passed by Nik Aziz personal residence, and we dropped by to have our Assar. We met Nik Aziz in-law there and surely for respect purpose we talk on the resaon why we are there. He later invited us to have tea at the Menteri Besar (MB) home. We were serve tea with some kek lapis Sarawak which he said was bought during the last State election.
(7) Later we went to Tok Bali to see the potential of a port development as well as the possibility of Fishermen Village Development. Since we are close to Trengganu, we then shot down to Jertih.
(8) On Friday, that was yesterday, we then explored Tumpat, met my old schoolmate there and have nice Nasi Berlauk. We then look at the KTM land and later proceed to Gua Musang. This is a nice green Limestone Scenic Town. There we looked at the Perbandaran and KTM land. It has good prospect for medium cost mixed development.
(9) We then move to jeli to see the UiTM Campus and look at the early Kota Samarahan syndrome of the township and students related facilities. Pity to see some lady students walking through bad, small, unlighted, a bit bushy to their rented home in the the nearby villages.
(10) After all the discussions and visits, I have a deep sympathy over the fate of the Kelantanese due to their political dilemma. They choose PAS, and filled up with non-ending hereafter promises: Leading (World) today for Tomorrow (Hereafter). All I would see, Nik Aziz really don't have people on how to move today really for the future. His words were and are literally being translated in the very short sighted means. All because, he himself has lacking knowledge to move the State into the real People State as he wish. To me, he is just like a a blind leading the deaf. Worst the deaf were and are also the blind.
(11) PAS though there have governed the State for more then 20 years, there are continuous sense of insecurity. As such, their focus were and are mainly to manipulate the People mind to be politically atune with them. Since the State cofer is empty, such they flooded their supporters with empty promises far in heaven.
(12) For the Kelantanese to choose UMNO as their political alternative are equally worst. Abdullah Badawi was given the chance, yet, nothing moving for the good of the people. All remain to focus on political safegurading of those individual representative. No serious soci-economic development changes were made. Even if one come down to Kota Bharu today, one will be surprise to see the hanging flyover across Kelantan River that seem not to move.
(13) In fact I made a quick simple leacture to the son in-law of Nik Aziz the way Sarawak handle our development and the future of our minority Muslim. I sort of telling him off, we managed our affair much fairly despite we never declared we are Muslim. We just work for the good of everybody.
(14) To me, Nik Aziz succession will not be easy. He is scared to leave because he can't see his deciples yet. To my reading, be they in the Kelantan Public Service or even PAS echelons, soon all will be just perut dulu be.
(15) Today I'm going down to see few entrepreneurs in Petaling jaya and later heading for Melaka before meeting some more investors in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow before heading home. I pray, I hope, I leave behings footsteps that people can enjoy much.
