(The mountains, a horizon afar, a dream to capture!)

The famous quote from Martin Luther King, a Black Freedom Fighter in USA was: "....I have a dream...". Such a quote was painted in the Blacks' mind and heart through King's blood when he was assasinated, and thus, Barack Obama, a Black made it a reality when he now walked into the White House. JF Kennedy dream of walking on the moon. His dream was realised through the Apollo. Now that space conquest turn into trillion of dollar telecommunication business. In 1990, Dr. Mahathir lauched the Vision 2020. He dream of a Developed Malaysia by year 2020. Lots of people world wide was initially stanched by his vision, and later became almost every country interest to follow suit. KLCC, F1 Circuit, and KLIA New Airport then were built to place Malayisia into the World Map!

(2) People such as Nelson Mandela, he lives by his dream. The dream to liberate his people for being forever slaves within their soil. Despite being treated inhumane by the White, he continued to stand on his shivering feet. Now he walks tall, not only among his people but, to the whole world.

(3) Cleopatra, Caeser, Alexandra the Great, Ghenzis Khan, to name a few, were those in the early human civilization that pursued their dream through bloodshed and conquest. They succeeded, they being remembered forever.

(4) In Islam, a poor slave such as Bilal has a dream. He dream to be a person within the blessing of the God of Muhammed. Though he was tortured almost to his death, his dream made him stand all the pains. To this day, Bilal, his name is remembered by all the Muslim world wide.

(5) In the current modern world, personality such as Bill Gates, he dreams that every household world wide to be connected intelligently. Thus, his mind work to make IT become everybody affordability.

(6) If we care to analyse all these successful dreams of these dreamers, we might conclude that their dreams were not personal. Their dreams were for the good course of human being.

(7) Now that we have entered the second week of the 2011, most of us I would say dreamed only for ourselves. Good career, good car, good house, good spouse, good family, good health, good income, etc. There is nothing wrong about those personal dream, but my only concern is what is our dream for our nation, our country, our society? Can't we not dream and really work hard for the country, the society while we work hard for our own dream?

(8) I raised this issue after attending one of the NGO meeting this morning. The Management of the NGO seem to be doing thing as there are since its establishment for the last 11 years. The management seem only doing things as they are paid. There is no initiative to walk even an inch further. To me basically all these because the responsible person(s) don't have a dream of what they must achieve for the nation!

(9) If we don't have a dream beyond our personal interest, in actual fact we don't have great dream.
