WORK THE FIRST MILLION....the easy next....

At the age of 13 years old, I was put on stage by MySchool to talk on If I Have RM1,000,000.00..What Would I Do or Be?....an English Speech Competition among Malay Schools in Kelantan....looking back at MyChildhood days...all these make me wonder...what do all these have to do with me now...at every stage of life there always these unintended things happening in our life-journey......well now I realised..these were/are all His plans in preparing you to be who you are next....what a coincident....in business they say, if we can get the first RM1.00 million, then the next would be easy....

(2) Back to the speech, I then (1973) chose to talk on Developing a Plantation, with MyRM1.00 million. MyArgument was simple, create jobs and opportunities among our people. Grew the business from there. And surely I’ll be able to help more then. If I used the money to buy other luxury goods or life-styles, then those money won’t be sustainable……a great idea at that 13 years old age….more interesting, I came from Simunjan, a very isolated place in Sarawak…and now here in Kuala Krai, another equally isolated and interior place in Kelantan….where probably no great wisdom could be born....and yet I believe I have this superb idea about mandkind! If you asked me at that point in time, I won't know the hidden answer to MyRM1.00 milion speech...even for the couple of month back....I won't know for sure, the wisdom behind My1973 Talk!

(3) Now that after I got hocked to this blogging...I begin to think what to write...for a better humandkind!Looking back, and seeing the future! This small tthought is to be shared among us....a mirror to see ourselves

(4) In fact, some of us are gifted while others have to struggle to make themeselves (who and whatever they are). Nonetheless, either gifted or need to build on our own....most important, even at the early age we should always need to think...what is the purpose of our existence......we can't just try to be others...rather let work on our best!

(5) Secondly, I don't believe, we were born just for ourselves. Even if He created us as a rock, still our purpose is for the good of humandkind...at least to make the road foundation.....therefore, we are born for others....so let not be stingy in life....even the wealth that we got...is not purely for us...it need to be shared...equitably with others......think our purpose from the extrovert perspective...not the selfish inward self....

(6) In the Malay society context, everywhere, either in Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines...or even on those scatered Islands in the South Pacific...the Malanesian...we are not economically strong...despite we being natives...we were among the first inhabitants of these places....and once we were the conqueror of the sea..the juggle...all those...but now we are so timid in our own homeland! Let think...and work!

(7) Every Malay...be there a Malay, a Javanese, a Bugis, an Iban, a Kadazan, a Taglog, a Cham, a Pattani, a Papua, a Nguini...name it...when they are in disadvantage poisition, everyone...we would love to lay thing from a political perspective....could politic resolve everything....probaly we are too indebt with the Roman political ideology...politic mean our blood and life...and we never have indepth analysis of our own strengths....

(8) I don't believe politic could resolve everything....thus, political leadership is not the only leadership trait that we must acquire....

(9) The Malays (world wide)...must begin to think...and really work hard...that their future is dependent on how they could provide broader micro-leadership especially in such areas as business, corporate sector, legal, finance, health, technical,...all spheres of life..

(10) The socio-economic backwardness...and the worst, our national wealth holding disparity that we have today...because we don't believe in Getting the First RM1.00 million, the Next is Easy.....we never wanna be serious in business and being an entrepreneur....we love being hired and get paid...just like in those colonial days....we have not change.....worst as a Malaysian Malay....we never abide to our Prophet Muhammad saw advice....90 percent of the world wealth lies in business...though we are the only human race on this earth being defined from the religious-based....the holy Islam...yet the fudamental to ummah prosperity...being ignored. What a shame...

(11) Even if we lead public sector organization....we still act like 'paid workers' doesn't matter what is our position....we are so used to be 'hired and paid'...rather let Make the First RM1.00 million for our society...the next is always easy.....why not we change in every corner of our life....we move as businessperson....fast, firm, determine, strategic....and surely barakah!

(12) It is time not to sleep too much...Najib can't shoulder all...he gives political leadership...we lead the technical and entrepreneurship sector....

  6. ..you again bro...to the best of my knowledge bro, timber is the second or third largest revenue income to our state,..so preserve it well..do replanting properly...but I think timber just like oil& gas, it is a depleting resources..we should make plan now to make it sustainable..species like engkabang, belian, selangan, meggris, nyatoh, jelutong are hard to find now in our jungle..just love to see how beutiful is the wood grain when the log is cut to quarter sawn bro..
..i m confused with this bro: sarawak forestry cooperation, forest department and STIDC...we know damn well they are all doing timber...but what are the authority, jusisdiction and function to each one of them bro?....
